I am a research scientist in the general field of computational medical physics, with a PhD degree in nuclear engineering and science. I have a broad research interest, including Monte Carlo simulation of radiation transport, radiation dosimetry, GPU-accelerated computing, quantitative medical image analysis, etc. Whatever research I work on, the part I enjoy the most is always software engineering. I always strive to write high quality code.
I’m an avid fan of video games, single player FPS and RPG in particular. I refrain from multiplayers, but used to play CS 1.6 and Quake Champions quite a lot. In my spare time I develop my own open-source video game named Quarter Life.
Another hobby of mine is humor arts. My wife and I have an Etsy store BiuBu Wonderland. I design and draw the funny cartoon characters, while my talented wife creates all the rest (architecture, landscape, watercolor, etc).
